Quarters of teachers called names, intimidated or pushed by students

Pupils who scold, intimidate or even use physical violence against their teachers: more than a quarter of high school teachers have had to deal with this in the past year. According to a survey (.pdf) among more than a thousand teachers by research agency DUO.

In addition, NOS Stories entered into a conversation via Instagram with nearly 10,000 students. Of these followers, half experienced teachers being called names. The word cancer whore “in particular regularly flies through the classroom”.
